Mandeep Randhawa, completed his Physical Therapy education in 2002 from prestigious Bangalore University in India inspired by his well-educated and motivating family. His interest in sports and dealing with sports injuries while growing up led to him eventually choosing Physiotherapy as his career path.
Mandeep is very compassionate and joyful person to work with and believes in giving his best everyday to treat and care for his patients, he is good listener and does his assessments thoroughly, a very good trait to have in a Physiotherapist.
After graduating as a Physio in India, Mandeep worked in a variety of settings as a Physiotherapist. He worked in Sports injury Clinics, as well as Neurological and Musculoskeletal therapy clinics to get a well rounded clinical exposure in various sub-fields within Physiotherapy. A sportsman himself, he believes cutting edge sports physio techniques, not only treats the injuries but also prevents further injuries.
Mandeep keeps himself fit by running and also by working out in the gym. His favorite sport is Badminton and Cricket.
Mandeep loves to do more courses to enhance his clinical skills and has recently certified himself in Gunn Intra Muscular Stimulation or IMS Dry Needling (CGIMS), Myofascial mobilization, Soft Tissue Release (STR)techniques, Advanced courses in TMJ (Jaw Disorders), Hip, Lower back problems. To further upgrade his clinical skills Mandeep has decided to complete his McKenzie Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) certification and Mulligan School of Manual Therapy certification in the near future and so far has completed the Mulligan's Upper Quadrant course (Cervical, Thoracic, Shoulder, Elbow and Wrist) and Lumbar Spine course (MDT).
Mandeep enjoys treating patients with mid or lower back pain due to his MDT training, and also loves treating traumatic shoulder issues and various sports injuries.
Mandeep loves playing Badminton and Cricket in his spare time and loves spending time with his loving parents and his wife and has two lovely kids, Karn and Seerat.
Mandeep is currently accepting new patients and is available 3 days a week with late appointments available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at Pitt Meadows Physio Clinic.
