Shockwave Therapy

What is Shockwave Therapy?

Shockwave therapy is a non invasive therapy that uses low-frequency acoustic shockwaves generated via a handheld device that kick starts the body’s natural healing response within the tissue. Shockwave uses a pneumatically powered hand-piece that generates low frequency radial shockwaves at the tip of the device, which are transmitted to the site of the injury through a conducting gel. This helps accelerate rehabilitation in tissues that are typically slow to heal or have a tendency to heal incompletely.

Unlike most other clinics, we do not charge extra for shockwave therapy treatments!
